Leather clothing is more popular today than ever before, especially for women. In every type of media, from magazines to movies and television, you’ll see women in leather. From stylish office wear to casual outfits to hot sexy costumes, leather clothing can reflect so many moods. As women, we use clothing to make a statement, to show our style, to give a hint of how we feel about ourselves and the world around us.

We’ve all heard the saying,”Dress for success!” Well, success can mean many different things to women. Success can also mean different things at different times to the same woman. There are times we want to feel attractive, to stand out from the crowd, to say to the world, “Look at me!”. There are times we want to show our independence and dance to to our own inner music. There are times we want to belong, to feel secure and safe in the arms of our lover. The clothing we choose to wear is a reflection of these and a hundred other moods we feel. Our emotions flow like a river through our lives. Sometimes calm and peaceful, sometimes wild and unrestrained. Clothing is an emotional choice. Fabrics, colors, textures, our choices are a snapshot of our interior thoughts and emotions at that moment.

Certain styles of clothing also have a image in society. For example, a leather motorcycle jacket conjures images of rebelliousness, freedom and individuality. Leather clothing also has an aura of sexiness and danger. Let’s face it, we all like to be bad girls from time to time. And we know wearing a little leather mini skirt is going to get us the attention of all the men around!
